FAQ
What size bag do I need?
Match the bag size to your board length, and check the brand's fit notes on this page.
Can I fly with this bag on Hawaiian or Alaska?
Yes. Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines treat surfboards as standard checked baggage with no special item fee. One bag can hold more than one board, up to 10 ft 5 in (nose to tail) and 50 lb. On flights using their regional E175 aircraft, the bag must not be longer than 9 ft 7 in (Alaska and Hawaiian surfboard policy, Nov 3, 2025). Fees and rules change, so check the live airline page before you fly: Alaska and Hawaiian sports equipment baggage page. Other airlines have their own limits.
