Firewire, a surfboard brand, was originally called Nev and was founded by Neville Hyman in Western Australia in the 1990s. Firewire uses machine shaping technology and epoxy sandwich construction to create high-tech surfboards. Firewire utilizes three proprietary construction processes (LFT, Helium, and Timbertek), as well as Thunderbolt technology
