Slippers are an essential part of everyday attire in Hawaii. Hawaiian South Shore wanted to support a local slipper brand, so after researching, they decided to stock Scott Sandals. Scott Sandals is a Hawaii-based company that has been making high-quality slippers for over 80 years.

The Scott family originally came from Los Angeles to vacation in Hawaii in 1932. They ended up staying and starting a shoe factory, shipping machinery from their LA shoe company. During WWII, material shortages led Scott to pivot to focusing solely on slippers. Over the past 60+ years, Scott became a recognized slipper brand in Hawaii, even contracting with Baywatch in 1999.

Given Scott Sandals' rich, 80+ year history in Hawaii, it's no wonder they are a staple slipper brand here.
