Vissla DaFin Hawaiian South Shore Point Panic Experience Results

Congratulations to B.K Holt & Kai Santos for winning the Bodysurfing & Handboarding Divisions of the 2016 Point Panic Experience!  These individuals were also the only two wave riders whom advanced to both final heats on both days of competition.  Though the surf was small, clean and somewhat inconsistent, all 50+ contestants took full advantage of the opportunity provided.  From a fired-up 11-year old beach entry grommet to the small handful of elders in their 60’s, these pure wave riders came to Point Panic from the islands of Hawaii and Kauai, Australia, North & South America and various locations on Oahu.  The attachments provided are the official results of all contestants in the Bodysurfing & Handboarding Divisions. My most sincere and humblest apologies go out to all in attendance at the awards ceremony Saturday afternoon.  Due to an “identification” error made solely by myself, I incorrectly announced the 1^st and 4^th place winners of the Bodysurfing Division.  No judges, event officials, participants, supporters or sponsors are responsible for this error due to the fact that I incorrectly identified the bodysurfing finalists wearing black and red caps.  Thank you for your patience and understanding regarding this issue.  I make no excuses for this major error due to my incorrect judgement. 2016 PPE BODYSURFING RESULTS 2016 PPE HANDBOARDING RESULTS I’d personally like to thank ALL of this years’ participants, supporters and various sponsors of this 8^th annual Point Panic wave riding event.  They include VISSLA, DaFin, Hawaiian South Shore, Soaptopia, Vertra, Custom Countertops Inc., EKM Records, Friends of Point Panic Foundation, Malama Point Panic, Menehune Water Company, Viper Surfing Fins, BSD Inc., International Bodysurfer, Manukai Handboards, Hawaiian Handplanes, Hawaiian Handfins and Wave Blades.  Feel free to emailmalamapointpanic@gmail.com if you are interested in purchasing more of this years’ event t-shirts in sizes medium through 2XL.  All funds obtained though entry fees and t-shirt sales will be used to hold the 2017 Point Panic Experience.
