The Surfing ABC's Project

Hawaiian South Shore’s writer and resident big wave expert Matt Rott has been involved in a number of creative, surf-related projects over the years, including Surfline’s recent viral film series Maps to Nowhere. One of his lesser known projects is a surfing ABCs book that he has helped a friend named Miguel Sanchez develop. While the book is obviously geared toward kids learning their ABCs, it also features illustrations of core surf terms and concepts, and is based on Miguel’s experiences living on a remote Pacific island with Matt, where Matt introduced him to the ocean and helped him learn to surf.

This book makes a great gift for baby showers, grom’s birthdays, or any surfing buddy who has kids at home. We can’t wait to get our copy.
