Harley Ingleby Mid 6 Series

The Harley Ingleby Mid 6 is a high-performance midlength 6 channel surfboard, designed to give maximum mid-length performance in all wave types. Its fine, round pin tail, curvy plan shape, smooth rocker, and a bit of nose flip make it equally comfortable turning deep in the pocket or long open-face arcs. The high nose rails through to mid tucked and low hard in the tail, foiled from the center, provide a nice balance of drive through sections while maintaining hold through tight turning arcs.

Riding the Waves with the Mid 6

The Mid 6 range has been designed to deliver maximum performance for mid-length boards across all wave types. The fine, round pin tail and curved outline shape create a smooth rocker that enables both deep, pocketed turns and long, open-face arcs with ease. The high nose rails fade to mid tucked rails and low, hard rails in the tail, providing drive through sections while maintaining grip for tight turning. The foiled center accelerates quickly through maneuvers.

While optimized for daily surfing conditions, the Mid 6 has the versatility to handle more powerful waves. The six channels provide immediate response without compromising the ability to change lines or arc lengths on the wave face. Strategically balanced between your feet, the channels generate explosive acceleration out of turns unlike any other board. Breaking the stereotype that channeled boards only perform in clean waves, the Mid 6 has proven itself in all conditions. The blended channels allow tight radius turns even in choppy or weak surf. From playful waves to pounding surf, the Mid 6 strikes a perfect balance of control and performance.

Performance and Maneuverability

The 6'10" Mid 6 Twin retains a similar width and volume to the popular 7'0" model, but its couple inches shorter length creates a more curved outline that is ideal for smaller pockets. This compact and maneuverable shape makes it the perfect platform to release as a twin fin. The 6'10" Mid 6 Twin has been designed specifically for use with the FCS2 Power Twin fin set. Harley developed the Power Twin design for FCS and it has become one of their most sought-after twin fin options. The Mid 6 Twin comes in Thunderbolt Red and Thunderbolt Black construction and is available in 6'10 size with two colors: Ocean Blue and Full Carbon.

The Mid 6 mini six channels pair well with either thruster or quad fin sets for a smooth feel. From 6’4” to 7’0”, the new FCS Harley Large Mid set provides an ideal combo. For the 7’6” and 7’10” sizes, the FCS Harley XL Quad set is suggested to match the board's leverage with sufficient foil. Other fin combinations can also work effectively, though medium to large 80/20 foiled rears matched to any large to extra-large flat foiled fronts are best for optimizing the six channels. Sticking with foil fronts with sweeped sided 80/20 quads will provide the most balanced rail engagement and solid drive out of turns on the Mid 6.

The Mid 6 comes in both Thunderbolt Red and Thunderbolt Black construction which comes in sizes 6’4”, 6’8, 7’0”, 7’6”, 7’10 and colors Light Blue, Orange, Candy White, Grey Carbon and Full carbon.
